2025 - 2028 Strategic Priorities

Here at Breakthrough Cincinnati, we are looking ahead through 2028 - always trying to figure out how can we best fulfill our mission of preparing underrepresented students for success in college while inspiring the next generation of educators.

The challenges in our region are steep with college matriculation gaps as high as 40% and new teacher certifications declining year over year. But, we’re up for the challenge!

Invest in continuous improvement of our Summer Scholars and tutoring programs for middle school students.

Strengthen the school year college and career exploration program for middle school students.

Invest in training and continuous improvement to inspire at least 100 new education professionals

Build a financial stable organization with individual, foundation and local, state and federal funding
