College Bound Program

You’ve graduated from BTC, now what?

Calling all 9th-12 graders. It’s time to plan for success college! Join Breakthrough as we help our college-bound students prepare for their futures. We will cover everything from creating your target school list, completing the common app, writing college essays, financial aid and more. We will also keep the BTC community going with outings, community service and more!

Stay on track in each grade:

  • 9th: Find your fire. Build a strong foundation for future success.

  • 10th: Feed your fire. Expand your community of exploration.

  • 11th: Fuel your fire. Narrow your focus and your funding.

  • 12th: Flame your fire. Apply, earn and transition to what’s next.

Program engagement asks students to join monthly in-person meetings (second Saturday of each month) and touch base with their mentors virtually each week to maintain progress on college readiness milestones.

  • September 13 10am-2pm

    Get to know the program and build a community of support. Mentor introductions.

  • October 11 10am-2pm

    Setting the stage for the year ahead with academics, study skills, and a socio-emotional check in.

  • November 8 10am-2pm

    Digging deeper into careers and the professional skills needed to thrive in them.
