School Year Program

September 20, 10 am - 1pm

Join the staff at Cincinnati State Career services as they engage students in a hands on workshop to help our scholars identify their interests and strengths. Students will also have a chance for a quick tour of Cincinnati State’s campus and even practice an emergency medicine career in Cincinnati State’s state of the art lab.

Lunch will be provided

Transportation to Cincinnati State from student homes will also be provided, if requested

October 11, 9am - 2pm

Students will travel to the Archaeological Research Institute in Lawrenceburg, Indiana where they will learn all about careers in history and archaeology. Students will visit the on-site lab and examine artifacts as they piece together local history.

Lunch will be provided.

Transportation will be provided from Victory Parkway to ARI

November 8, 10:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us at Stone Lanes for some community bonding and bowling! Specific date will be announced in November.

Students will learn firsthand how environmental engineers us their math and science skills to improve our physical environment.

Join as at the World Affairs Council at NKU as we explore global cultures and careers. Students will also have a chance to tour the campus at NKU and eat lunch in the cafeteria.

Transportation will be provided, if needed, from student homes to NKU and back to student homes.

May 16th 8am - 5pm

Reserved for students who participate in at least 3 school year engagements (Super Saturdays or tutoring), we will travel to Center of Science and Industry (COSI) for a fun-filled day of learning.

The bus will depart from Victory Parkway at 8am. Admission to COSI and lunch are also included.
