Super Saturdays || Tutoring

Super Saturdays 2025-26 (6th - 8th Graders)

Super Saturdays are monthly opportunities for career exploration, designed just for 6th - 8th grade Breakthrough students! Click into each experience for details on date, time, location and transportation options.

  • September 20, 2025

    Join BTC and Cincinnati State Career services for a hands on workshop to help our scholars identify their interests and strengths. Students will also tour Cincinnati State’s campus.

    Lunch will be provided

    Transportation to Cincinnati State from student homes will also be provided, if requested.

  • October 18, 2025

    Students will travel to the Archaeological Research Institute in Lawrenceburg, Indiana where they will learn about careers in history and archaeology. Students will visit the on-site lab and examine artifacts as they piece together local history.

    Lunch will be provided.

    Transportation will be provided from Victory Parkway to ARI for all students

  • November 8, 2025

    University of Cincinnati - Victory Parkway

    Join our friends from Galen Nursing to explore careers in health care. Students will participate in a hands-on experience with Galen’s Health Care Mobile Hubs where they will get to be doctors, nurses, EMTs and more!

    Lunch will be provided.

    Transportation to Victory Parkway from student homes will be provided, if requested

    Bring the whole family and join the BTC community for fun, food and fellowship at Stone Lanes.

    No transportation is provided

  • February 21, 2025

    Join us for a fun and interactive session all about environmental compliance! Students will discover how rules and laws help protect our air, water, and land—and why following them matters. Through hands-on activities and real-world examples, kids will see how everyday choices connect to a healthier planet.

  • April 11, 2026

    Join us as we travel to Central State for “Spring Fest”. Students will visit campus, learn about careers, see step show, grab some food and learn all about being a Central State Marauder!

    Transportation will be provided to and from Central State from UC-Victory Parkway for all students.

  • May 16th 8am - 5pm

    Reserved for students who have participated in at least 3 school year engagements (Super Saturdays or tutoring), we will travel to Center of Science and Industry (COSI) for a fun-filled day of learning.

    The bus will depart from Victory Parkway. Admission to COSI and lunch are also included.

Tutoring

Tutoring is offered weekly on Tuesdays from 6:00 -7:00 via Microsoft Teams beginning September 30, 2025.

You may need to download the MS Teams App or use the browser version. It is best to use a computer vs a phone in order to share screens and use chat features.
